New service for friends and family

Friendly Call Service

• We run a FREE telephone call service.
• Our members will receive a daily telephone call, at a prearranged time, anything from one to five days a week.
• We provide this call so that we can chat with our Members, check on their well-being, and remind them of any upcoming appointments.
• The call will also inform and encourage our Members to participate in community activities and invite them to our social events.
• The call will also act as a link to other service providers, such as social services, housing and advice services.
• In the event of there being no answer, we will also advise a contact person and, if necessary, we will contact the emergency services.

Small Repairs Service & Basic Maintenance Service

• Assessment of our Members' security needs
• Supply and installation of safety and security measures and devices
• Provision of basic maintenance for house and garden

How it works:

Step 1
Our Members can call Luke on 01 2014478 or email homelinkhandy@eircom.net.

Step 2
Luke will arrange a suitable time to come out and assess the work to be done. He will then schedule an appropriate time and day to carry out the work.

Maintenance staff only travel in twos and are fully insured. There is no fee for the labour; we only ask that the materials used be covered. Donations are kindly accepted.

Pendant Alarms and Other Security Devices

A pendant alarm will provide the user with a means of summoning help. When pressed, it will alert staff at an emergency monitoring centre. It can be worn around the neck, and can be used anywhere in the house or garden. We can arrange other personal safety solutions from a range of products, e.g. smoke alarms, carbon monoxide monitors, etc. Please get in touch with us today to find out more.
